Re: C - Drive Fins

Looks like i'll be on the Longboard & Waterskate until i can get my core strong enough to surf a shorter board. If you'd like a lend of my Medium C-drives, just text me your preferred postal address and...

Re: C - Drive Fins
Got an email with an offer to trial a GX size set of rears.... Did my back a few hours before the email came... going to be a while before i get to surf... good chance the rears will be commercially available before i've recovered fully. Either way, can't wait to try out the rears. I reackon the Med...

Re: urge to poo when suiting up
My random urge to poo doesn't come during surf time... It always hits me at the video shop.
As soon as i walk in and smell that popcorn it hits me... then it's a mad rush to pic a dit and get out of there in time so i don't mud myself.

Re: Jackson Biscuits
I ummed and arrrred between a 6'0 biscuit and one of the poddy shapes in a 5'10... I went with the 6'0 x 21 x 3 5 fin plugs (set up as a quad at the moment. Medium C-drive fronts and MR trailers for rears) Single concave to V Haven't had much time to surf as i've just changed jobs, but the few waves...

Re: C - Drive Fins
I've got medium fronts and Glass flex GX single foils in my quadfather at the moment and there was a noticeable difference in rail to rail transitions for me. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on some rears though... Have you guys actually bought them separately or did you get them on loan? Al...

Re: Mini Simmons
Stuart Paterson at PCC surfboards has shaped a few recently, has one you can demo, it's about 5'10 x 22 x 2 5/8 from memory. Diverse is doing them too.

Re: Highest quality custom wettie
going through wettie issues at the moment... had the neck piece repaired on my oneill mutant, but it fits a little too tight... was going to go and buy a $300 oneill suit with just the stand back zip entry. After going from near top of the range to a mid range suit... think i'll notice much of a dif...

Re: made my own heated wetsuit
wetties are just too good these days.... you can't piss in them anymore... I went for a surf out at the point just after i met my girlfriend... Here i was thinking i was about to get some when we both looked at eachother, sniffed the air, and in unison said "i think i/you need a shower" and besides....

Re: Where did you surf today ?
If i wasn't living in a rental i'd be doing it for sure. Looks so hard, but would be so rewarding when you start to get the hand of it. Funny you mention it really... I've been interested in how the plug is going to be fixed even though it's not the first time i've done it, so i spent most of the ar...

What kind of waves will you be surfing your new board in Topher? Got any particular shapes in mind?

You'd have to help your mate. It's instinct. When the shit goes down, people help each other out. It makes perfect evolutionary sense. In my opinion, you're either born with it or you're not... Situations like this really bring out peoples' true colours... Most of us will never know how we will rea...
