Those little YouTube videos are good. Saw the one on EPS vs PU. He reckoned one factor was that EPS Boards stop immediately when you stop paddling due to lightness.

I can get a 9'6" in my Corolla. It also fitted I'm my i30.
I can actually get a 10 footer in sans fin.

My paternal grandmother went into dementia at about my age now and survived till 91.
Her hearing was perfect though.

Tinnitus and hearing loss seem to have been linked to dementia now. That scares me somewhat It's more to do with the fact that people with hearing loss tend to hold themselves at arm's length from involvement in things which stagnates their mental capacity. Keep involved and you are no more at risk...

For example I'm in a shopping centre right now and would normally hear the tinnitus.
But ATM I can hardly hear it

They're right. Nothing can be done for tinnitus.
But good hearing aids help keep it in the background because you can hear all the normal sounds around you.
With poor hearing the tinnitus becomes more noticeable.

How do you know if it’s surfers ear or general hearing loss causing the issues? Are you asking me or beans? I don't have surfers ear. Just a lifetime of working with noise. Compressed air in injection moulding factories then more of the same in tyre services. And driving rally cars al night before ...
