Really high quality mags those ones. Great photos for the time and quality gloss paper. I'm pretty sure of the date because that was one of the first mags I ever bought when I started surfing. Short articles, poems. Large format photos. I think John Witzig was learning the ropes there as well.

Banks are on the improve. Had a couple of fun ones on Sunday.

Had a bash at the windblown chunks on offer. A bit of fun in the crowds. Good to get in the water. Still a few seven wave sets belting in occasionally.

Shark Island looked absolute crap n the cams. Bronte was big and closey outie . Fun to watch. Got covered while standing up the top of the walkway past the baths. I mean right up the top. That's a big spray. Three guys out. Apparently someone tried to go out off the rock shelf up from the usual jump...

A few bombs smashing the brave hearted at Bronte earlier. Even the rubber duck had to gun it for the horizon at one stage. Wow, vintage board as well. PT used to ride G&S Bonzers for quite a while back in the day. This continued to ad fuel to the PT is a California Style cruiser Spray. Then he went and lived in the States just to prove it.
