The twin keel fish craze of 10 plus years ago was a laughable sight to behold. Flocks of dweebs trying to surf uneven beach breaks on them

Hatchy, it's not about the keels, it's all about the beard, skinny jeans & the hand jives

Re: Midlengths

If u get a 7ft go fish beery, it d be a long fish & probably ok for this thread.....otherwise get a 4'11 & a single fin midlength oozing "ouvre"

Cranked, I am sure that board would be amazing in Indo, GC beachies maybe not so......look forward to a ride report!

Re: Midlengths

This one is shaped by Paul Hutchinson who makes incredible looking boards, never had the pleasure of riding one of his boards but have dribbled over plenty. I am sure it will go well with such illustrious pedigree: https://northcoastsurfboards.com.au/collections/gerry-lopez-surfboards/products/72-ge...

Re: Midlengths

I read that as well beany, makes a lot of sense. I spent the last half hour going through MC's website, the Shiva looks fun, could be even more fun as a midlength! Going to troll through Goddards site now another sleepless night, thanks beery. Re: the gato space pig, I love surfing Kirra & the piggy...

Re: Single fin shortboards

Thanks guys, I like the outline of the tak & think with a more pulled in nose they would be very versatile. I was thinking around 6'10. As much as I enjoy my singles side bites to help the turning arch are appealing. I have a pair of fcs bonzer sides which I used with a 6.5" centre fin on a couple o...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

swell is still hanging in there. bit of a wait ... but still 3ft+ sets and offshore. I had a bank all to myself on that new emery. A long spinning right that was still hollow in places despite the high'ish tide. I don't know what i'm going to do when it eventually goes flat. I've fallen into such a...

Re: Quiver thread

I think there's something wrong with me. For the first time since I started surfing I feel like there's no room in my life for more boards. Surely it's a passing phase. Yes, I have felt this a couple of times. The solution is slapping yourself around the head & selling 3 or 4 boards......then the c...

Re: Midlengths

Don't tell everyone hatchy! But yeah, what's the point of being able to surf super rad on your 5"10 hypto if you can't make it around the second section.

Not a midlength, but i think that you will appreciate this: https://vimeo.com/114110573
