@Spork. Very different board. No flyer, wider front end and a more pulled in tail into the swallow. Also less tail rocker. A great little board.A surprising amount of volume well hidden. You'll love it Tonks.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

you've got to surf shorter sessions with more rest between Vic. concentrate on quality and recovery between sessions, building capacity in the shoulder supporting muscles and avoiding over-use. you've got shit-tons of surfing left in you. get away from those beachies onto some quality points and re...

Mate has a chest zip Oneil Superfreak. Is happy with it for around here ( not too far south of you) and around $300. Might be worth a look. Take a look at Xcel as well.

Re: that wetsuit discussion...

Worthwhile watching Surfstitch for their sales. I picked up a short sleeved Gooru 2mm chest zip 25% off. Not too much less than KOW who confirmed to me before that that they would no longer ship Oneil. I have an Xcel Infiniti chest zip 3/2, the 3rd Xcel and they are great suits. Not quite as good fi...

My sympathy to you Spoon. Sounds awful. And Beery. Not sure how I would cope with a long term recovery period.

Re: Patellar snapped in half.

How long since the op Spoon? Mine has returned and physio last night showed impingement, so out of the water for a month at least and ongoing physio to regain full movement. Boards and wetties tidied up and put away

Going to camp in the mountains and drink me a river for kicks instead.

Re: Summer 2013-'14

1 week to go and I'm out of the water so summer for me is over.

C grade. No real run of trade swell, lots of northerlies and for the 1st 6 weeks very poor banks. Preceded by a poor Spring. Hopefully Autumn presents a happier state.

Nick, watched the MP Chiko pro , or bits of it anyway. Struck by the relative lack of airs etc. Has insistence on power (grrr) come at a competitive cost ( compared to Brazoos in particular?)
