Cheers to both lessormore and salty for your photographic generosity. Spewing lessormore didn't get a few of my early waves... I was less kooky and the waves were better out the back... but murphy's law was just a little too strong that day. Trying to tee up a handover time with Faniel. Was initiall...

Followers of the bat, Had a nice little session at the wall this morning. Bumped into Lessormore at the showers on the way to the carpark. Who was kind enough to get his camera out and video my last two kooky waves. Keep and eye out for the footage, i haven't seen it, but it won't be anything exciti...

Was pretty stoked though. It was the shortest board i've ever paddled out, and i got up first go with no dramas. Ju...

Les Purcell 9'6''single fin for a Miller Powerglide
Les Purcell 9'6'' single-fin.
I've tried to find some details on the board but it's almost impossible, as Les stopped shaping in 1995.
I can email photos after Tuesday 21st Oct.
Board's watertight, with the usual compressions.
Board's too long for my liking.

I really can't wipe that smile off my face. It's been there since that photo was taken on saturday... my cheeks are starting to get a little sore. I'm pretty stoked there's no waves at the moment... I thought it would be the other way around! Hopefully there's a wave around on Sunday arvo. there'll ...

Something i designed when i was 19 and in training as a Naval Communicator. Good to see the governments money was spent wisely huh ;) The symbol is Japanes...

Got my new board
Here's some pics of my new board. 6'8'' x 21'' x 2 3/4'' FCS M7 fins Can't surf it till saturday... it's going to be a long week. It's been an absolute pleasure dealing with Grant Miller from start to finish. Can't speak highly enough of the man's professionalism. http://i322.photobucket.com/albums/...

cheers
thanks for your input guys.
i've got a friend that's an airbrush artist... i might just get her to paint me a wave of something like that on the bottom and leave the deck white just to be in the safe side.

Custom Paint job.
I'm getting a 6'8" Miller Waterskate shaped for me, and as it's my first custom board, I want to get a different paint job on it. At this stage i'm thinking about having it all black with a white pinstrip alround, and navy blue Miller signs on the deck. What do you reckon... does all black look good...
