Re: This surfing rib injury survey needs...You!
Not filling out your survey mate, but I have had a patch of 3mm neoprene sewn into an area on the front of my rashies which solved the problem. Don't have a problem while wearing a wetsuit, even 2mm. I see your survey monkey thing is in the UK so you probably don't wear a rashy on it's own. You coul...

Oh yeah probably. I was thinking in terms of what I do, which is take solar-res in carry-on.Legion wrote:mm that's for carry-on.
I don't take luggage, I use the board bags as luggage but don't put solar-res in there in case it gets squashed.

100ml max for any product in a tube or bottle, even if it's nearly empty they go by what's written on the container. Must be in clear ziplock bag.

Re: tumbleweed the extended australia trip
When I used to drive a field service truck in outback SA I always let the tyres down a bit on unsealed roads mainly to prevent the sharp rocks from splitting the sidewalls like a ripe tomato. Depends on the terrain I suppose.

Re: tumbleweed the extended australia trip
let the tyres down a bit Digger, it makes a huge difference.
Leave them that way until you get back on the highway.
Must be a servo or someone with a 4x4 compressor on board to inflate.

Surfed Nus Dua for 3.5 hours paddled out early - super clean up to OH x 2 Swell peaked about 8am - got 2 sets on the head at the peak washed across the reef so went in and got the boat out - surfed another 2 hours and paddled in That's an epic effort after paddling out in the first place. It was re...

Ah ok. Sounds like it's easily gonna handle a solid sizeable east coast day then. Never really ridden FireWire, but I reckon surftech (Tuflite) epoxy hits it's plausible limit at around a 'clean' six foot max. It's simply too light in anything bigger. Too skittery That's exactly how my 7' Byrne Tuf...

Hooded rashies
Looks like a good idea to keep the sun off the back of the neck, scalp and ears. There was a guy wearing one out at Ulus when I was there last time but I didn't get a chance to ask him about it. Googled it but can only find a company in Byron, but their website is up the shit. Anyone got one, or kno...

I'm somewhere in that second pic right now Is the toxic pollution thing a concern. For you or your neighbours? Like what's the deal with it all? That shit creeps me out. Not for me personally. I know people who live in port and am jealous of them big time. I've heard of no one getting sick for a ve...
