Re: Ask Carroll
This movie could be a goer......although you will probably have to swap it to Bondi with the Bondi Hypster Guys as MP and Owl.......with a car chase through the Bondi Junction Mall. Actually if you did do a road trip movie about MP and Owl you could have the Deathrace 1000 Race to Brisbane as the fi...

Re: Single Fins
Yep. I tried selling a board on Gumtree a few years ago.....no luck. My son put it on E Bay and we sold it for about $150 more than I was offering it for on Gumtree.
Got one board for under $300 in fairly good condition that would have had $1000 in front of that if it was new.

Re: The winter of our content.
Was thinking about those.....possibly exaggerated.......numbers. If we take them as real and you say everyone is on a surfboard that costs between say $300 and $800........and a wetsuit that costs conservatively say $200. You've got an industry right there.

Is there anything more pathetic than SUP Paddling on your knees?
Plus you know if they are prepared to do that its abandon ship as soon as the next set approaches.

Tiny....should have taken the mal.....heaps of kooks on mals, soft boards etc. Still eventually Sussed out a spot where I could grab the perfect little peelers. Even got a little cover up/head dip thingy.......unheard of. Water fantastic. Just that happy feeling weve all had since you paddled out on...

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Well that was a fun session earlier today. A bit too crowded in the south corner but good.......how much beach has been ripped out down there? It really drops off to bare rock. Must have lost 2 metres of sand at least. Tried to snare a few then paddled up the beach and attempted various sections bef...

My brother in law fishes......and he likes Sea Shantys. Not the songs, those disgusting fish cake type things that lurk in the frozen section near seafood extender and fish fingers. Any food outlet he recommends is immediately given a dubious question mark. Local RSL is his idea of haute cuisine.

Re: Ask Carroll
If they are polyethylene then they should be able to be welded back together by heat. I had a mate who was a crazy industrial designer and he used to do this with limited success. I'd look at using acetone because it dissolves polyethylene. Re: knots generally. If you want a really easy to remember ...

Hey QSTQ there were a couple of Brit Billabong sponsored surfers hanging at the mid west break in Bali when we were there last Jan. really smooth styles. Almost interchangeable. Thing was they both wore long sleave vests every day. It was like 29 Degree water and 31degree humid weather.

Totally useless in twilight/very overcast conditions. Can't see depth at all. Indeed glasses for driving. So you guys can have the sharks to yourself.
