Re: What boards DID you take to Indo?
I know far more people that have died in car crashes than motorcycles.steve shearer wrote:I'd love to ride a motorbike but I've just seen too many people turned into human sausage meat because of them.

Re: What boards DID you take to Indo?
More surfers should ride motorcycles.
They'd be stoked with the substitution when the waves aren't co-operating.

Re: What boards DID you take to Indo?
That one's 6'6". Gave a Brazzo mate (stall next door at the markets) who's always been on a hpsb a ride on it and it was almost comical to see him turn into a frothing grommet on it. He wanted to buy mine or another 6'6" but I told him no to mine. He's 80 odd kgs and 20 yrs my juniour so I told him ...

Re: What boards DID you take to Indo?
Speaking of mass produced generic crap I was at a night market with my food stall next to a wood fired pizza stall the other week.
Everything that went onto those store bought pizza bases either came out of a large plastic bag, can or bottle.

Re: Fish
Can't believe how much it loved the close out beachie. What surprised me the most was that something so flat and wide didn't nose dive on steep take offs Ssssshhhhhh....don't go spreading this around...we don't want the hpsb devotees to know this...and they can't go vertical...and they run you out ...

Re: Fish
Speaking of, Cuttle (and others) I am looking for a bigger/better wave board and had a chat to Dick Van he reckons a slim Wasp about 7ft would be the biz. Any thoughts on that as you have a Wasp and ride the larger longer McNeil?. Never really occurred to me these fishy boards can be shaped as larg...

Re: Fish
I knew this would happen. I was saving for a PCC custom. In the mean time I found my $150 bargain. Now what do you think turns up on the gumtree a week later. 5'7 PCC fish with a nice fabric inlay. Can't do it. How can a man go from having no fish, to four fish in a month. Better keep it at three. ...

Re: Ebay Bargains thread
I still have one of these in an 8'er. I surf it as a big, speedy carver.

Fwiw I find it looser than the MC guns.
I'd love to have this 7'2" as well.
Was told the shape came from Al Merrick.

Re: Ebay Bargains thread
Yeh wondering where you'd ride those I would ride mine on some of the points when you'll get bigger, wide ones or at Tea tree and Granite or my local point where there's too much sweep for anyone on a short board to do anything but paddle their ring off to stay in position while trying to jag one f...

if you're younger and/or fitter a 5'8-10" for 90 kgs would be heaps of foam.
