if the board in question has accentuated rocker and/or concave in the fin area then a straight fin base will not be totally flush. sanding the tabs alone will not do much. you can mess with sanding parts of the fin base to match, or bodge up a curved fin base with silicon or resin or whatever.. anyw...

i used to be a "longboard racist", until the silliness of surfing waves less than waist high on a shortboard became clear

it's a really fun wave.. not a barrell fest as it can get quite sectiony and open/shut but its driving wave and u gotta step on the gas...how hard can u bash a lip? this is the wave to do it very temperamental with the tides too other items ........the night shark feedings are a hoot .......expect t...

after wearing ripcurl size large steamers for the last 20 or so years, my new E bomb is not that comfortable. they seemed to have changed the cut to more slimline, its super tight around the shoulders, chest and upper back and it seems to defeat the purpose of the flex my older 3/2 is easier to padd...

Um, no... if there's more contests at Cactus or SW Africa it might be different?
