Re: Gary McNeill

AAAhhh ok, funny you mention that cos when talking to a mate of mine (good surfer) he said they are "small mans boards" which in hindsight prob meant "They are too refined for your skill level, look elsewhere"

Re: Neal Purchase Jnr Quartet

Couldn't you suggest a favourable write up in the Freeride Steve to bag a bit of a discount... ?

Re: Gary McNeill

Nah, gumtree. Took it out this arvo, worst waves ever but it made a couple of average runners seem fun. Think it could prove to be a little magic carpet.

Re: Neal Purchase Jnr Quartet

Neals such a nice guy as well, half the pleasure of his boards is dealing with him. I reckon you would really enjoy talking to him Steve.

Gary McNeill

Anyone had much experience with his boards, particularly his twins...

His twins look real nice. Love to demo one...

Can you ask him if he is flattered by Roy Stuarts 3D printed imitations of his fins?

Re: bonzers.....the quad fad is over

Volume is my friend. Surfing is so much better when you figure out that you shouldnt be on an undersized twizzle stick.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Why were you sat under the house? Who were you hiding from?

My local looked rooted, banks seem non existent as perfectly groomed lines of clean swell closed out onto the beach.

Re: bonzers.....the quad fad is over

Perhaps sticking to more conventional thrusters might have "improved" my surfing or might be better suited to the beachies I normally surf but I dont care. I am really enjoying th trip of different designs.
