That has happened to me too on those cheap lures.

Normally I replace them or lose them after a few fish.

Better than losing a twenty dollar lure.

At five bucks a throw it's a good deal.

haven't seen vibrotails for years.

Make sure you retrofit the trebles and split rings on the cheap lures.

But otherwise they work unreal.

The shallow running ones (jabiru jerkbait) : tailor and trevally.

The deep diving ones (daintree diver) : tailor, trevally and jewfish.
