It really is paradise around there...

Re: 7S Superfish Feedback
There's a buzz getting around that people call you Quadmore... Care to dispell any rumours?   Now that i think of it... if you put out a signature model, that'd probably be a good name for it... So no need to hold the naming competition, just cut to the chase and send me th...

Re: Sydney to Lismore Surftrip
Cheers boys. When i mentioned my usual haunts i should've pointed out that my main northern haunt is the Seal Rocks area. I've absolutely fallen in love with the place, and don't even get me started on Pacific Palms Bowlo  Timings are still to be confirmed, but i'll keep ya all in the loop. Ch...

Sydney to Lismore Surftrip
Going to visit a mate in Lismore. Going to make a few stops along the way, making an effort to dodge my usual northern haunts (well at least on the way up anyway). Got these places in mind. Crowdy Head Scotts Head Minnie Water Angourie (Stop in an check out Pridmore's shop and get a new t-shirt) I'm...

Re: Greg Webber Mini-Fish twinnie
Sorry for the delay gents... At the moment, i'm only really swapping between 3 boards. The 9'0, 6'2 (hogfish), or 6'0. Been surfing the 6'0 mainly. I'll surf the longboard when there's an opportunity to practise noseriding or if it's super crowded, the 6'2 when there's a bit more push in the wave, a...

Re: Greg Webber Mini-Fish twinnie
Yeah i'm hoping the surf picks up on tuesday like it's forecast to so I can get straight back on it. The conditions weren't right for it on Friday when i surfed my M10 Hogfish instead. One another note, my run of bad luck with dings and injuries continues... I've already put two compressions in the ...

Re: Thinking of getting a longboard - suggestions
Have you thought about the Trigger Brothers Stubbie? When i was doing a course down at Westernport, every man and his dog seemed to be on a trigger board... I surf with a guy at Cronulla from time to time and he's on a McTavish Carver, he loves it. I'm with monkey man though... as much as i like rid...

Re: How do you know what length to get your new board in?
hey hulkster, I'm 5'10 and 83kg, I've got a 6'8 x 21 x 2 3/4 Miller Waterskate that i used to come down from the 7'10 Mini Mal that learnt on. I also have a 7'0 Miller Powerglide which you could have a crack at too. I've had 5 over on it before, which might appeal to you after being on a longer boar...

Is it the board the fins or the operator?

Got pumped a couple of times too which is always good for the soul. Took 3 boards down this morning: Stretch Quad, Hogfish, and Webber Twinnie... 6'2 M10 Hog...

North Cronulla. 2-3ft the odd bigger one. big hightide going low. Junky almost nice swell but weak untill late and a bit wonky. Maybe it was that i was riding a small shortboard. although im liking my stretch now, so nice and easy to carve, hit the lip etc compared to fish/mals etc. Didnt like the ...

Re: Greg Webber Mini-Fish twinnie
I really love trying out new boards, most of them have been bargains, or the fruits of my buying and selling of boards. The only ones that were bought new were the Miller, Modern, Firewire and Webber. They've been more panic buys than anything... I met my girlfriend about 10months ago and knew that ...

Re: Greg Webber Mini-Fish twinnie
Just got a 6'0 webber mini fish... Had a 3 hour surf this morning at the Alley in Cronulla . Got a bunch of waves and did some nice turns... I'm not a very good surfer but i reckon it's a sweet board... It's my favourite board so far. The quiver had really come along since i started surfing 2 years ...

Well i didn't mean to start any arguements! Sheesh you boys are a bit touchy today... I had a short night at work and came back to all this... Well on the way to work I gave Jackson Surfboards a call, sounds like I could save about $100 if go with a most of the local guys... I've had a few dings rep...
