Can I say, that Melbourne/Saints game today summed up all the reasons I reckon league kicks arse on every form of football with the possible exception of the US NFL. You saw players rise to the occasion all over the field. In the 60th minute, Luke Bailey and Jason Ryles ran back a Melbourne kickoff ...

Slightly off the point (no pun intended) but I, as a weekend warrior, must say that over the past year the Poles area has become significantly more crowded. What last year was a place to escape the crowds has become a place where the crowds now go. Have the RS photos done this? I don't know. What I...

Forget about Firewire, there is some very interesting reading and other developments on there that probably have a bigger impact on the industry at least. ...and you'll hunt for days on ol Swaylocks to find even ONE MENTION of the surfboard buyer. Jeez I love boards and even I get put to sleep

Well the one I'm riding ain't opaque, just an airbrush pattern on the dense foam layer and clean balsa round the rail. Also a one way valve to the core a la paddleboards. It's definitely got a snappier livelier flex generally, a more live feel ... that rail stringer is doing something really good th...

In response to this we have developed the always important post-rationalisation. When you decide something and are not sure why, because lots of emotional things were going on subconsciously then you make up a post rationalisation. And thus the ludicrous phrase, "Everything happens for a Reason." E...

Besides, who is to say that there isn't any ancient wisdom within your cells that tells you what will glide over water efficiently and what wouldn't. Every gene in every cell is descended from some aquatic creature, assuming evolution is all that science says it is. ha ha ha, once in a discussion w...

Paddling around at my local over the weekend on my custom polyester handshaped by a respected local shaper, i Found myself unconsiously sneering at those lesser species riding epoxies. The new board snobbery starts at hte top with Custom local shortboard - then other species such as epoxy popout ri...

Forget about Firewire for a moment  what if some new technological breakthrough, because that is more what you were talking about, hits the water and it is not available in your preferred specs and just a range of models like snowboards, Surftech... do you give up everything you thought you ...
