i can also only speak for the original CELL, and I also had a warranty claim after some problems with the zip. But since then I've had the same wetty, it gets a good thrashing from March to November and has lasted me 3 years now. Personally im pretty slack with caring for it and it has lasted well c...

what's the difference btwn "pumping and weaving". Fond do you mean like that kind of pump you see pros do in their bottom turn to generate speed before (I'm thinking of Parko here) they smack the lip? how about the little double-pump bottom turn you do to get a little bit of extra speed to propel y...

I have seen a post about Haydenshapes boards a while back, the guy was complaining about the sun-cure glass Hayden uses and claiming he's seeing small cracks appearing in the tail however I got a Haydenshapes about 3 months ago, surfed it plenty and I've noticed no cracks myself. I did get heavier g...

Re: cheese and crackers
Let's face it, the majority of viewers are people like me, people stuck in offices working all day drooling on their desks. i 2nd that... im also interested to know how the cams have affected surfers who work from home? its so painful watching it from an office, but at least you have the thou...

And smnmntl, you're no better. I have no doubt smnmntl was well aware of the futility of his efforts, but fek me if he doesn't win hands down based on pure creative writing ability! Such grammar, the likes of which the bb forum has never seen before! You sir, are a literary king among kings and obv...

Does the s-core, or tufflite, have any environmental benefits over conventional fiberglass and foam construction? I guess if they do you could consider it an environmentally friendly purchase, like buying one of those ugly over-priced Prius green cars. As with an s-core, you certainly wouldn't buy a...

I was having this discussion with a friend today, he says go for Green sex wax as the bottom coat and then Orange on top of that, must wax in a circular motion  sure your 'friend' wasn't just trying to make you look like an 80's throwback? He didn't happen to suggest you wear a fluoro spring...

I just got a 'HS-SRTL - Shortboard for Larger Rider' from Haydenshapes . I'm 6'3" and 110kg, been riding 6'6" boards for as long as I can remember, no way id go over that coz you lose to much maneuvarability. I found the extra width, in general, and in the nose and tail, has made a big difference to...

Any tips for waxing up a new board and getting those lovely humps? I've tried dipping the wax in hot water before applying it but it doesn't work as well as I'd like... there must be a better way!
