Just don't try it on the phone. WSL clusterfcuk. If they're listening, I'd like them to know I shall probably never see it

Re: winter

So where shall we be when el Nino kicks in? Big chance for now. We had summer right through March, a very wet April, dryish May and now it's cold. Long term, the solstice and equinox have been the definers - at least down here. I'll continue that way for now. Trev's in lala tardland

Re: Broken bones ache in cold weather?

Same, used to. Wrist. That pain went after several years, but has been replaced by osteoarthritis. Same as the oa shoulder, pain is always there, just sometimes worse. Temp not seemingly a factor

Crunchy Point, down off the yacht club, which is really good on a big swell at low tide. Fat 2nd reef and The reef (1st reef) where I mostly surfed, but it se...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

I surfed one of Grooter's haunts on Monday. 2nd reef at Pt Leo. Spent countless hours at other places around the area over 20 odd years and reckon Monday still didn't take the number to ten. Smallish, but the same as ever. Fat city. Right up Grooter's alley

Re: that wetsuit discussion...

I hate back zips, but I've tried on a cpl of really uncomfortable chest zips. Sharp edges digging in. For you guys with bad shoulders, have you tried any chest zips with the fully detachable flap? Nah, all I've had are one sided. RC, Need & Excel. The list is in order of entry/exit ease Still can't...

Re: that wetsuit discussion...

Haha, never say never. I thought that - until the osteoarthritis set into my shoulder. Getting in easy enough, but getting out. RC easier than Xcel, but current (Xcel) is the last
