Actually, it’s a rib thing but I get referred pain in my shoulder with numbness and tingling down my arm.
Sounds like the issue I had late last year and early this year.
But they reckoned it was coming from my neck.
Gradually went away.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

An hour at Moffs from about 8am then an over 65s heat at the Alex Mal Club Winter Classic at midday and a semi final at about 3.30pm (in dramatically low tide conditions).
Final on Sunday morning. Hoping for better swell.

Re: Just general surfing stuff

Great news. Funding is pretty much under control and now Council Approval. This clubhouse will be shared by Windansea and Caloundra Mal Club. But Windansea has been the prime moving force. Location is the park at the end of Buderim St, Currimundi. AKA Ann St. ***HISTORY MADE** this morning at the Na...

Re: Just general surfing stuff

Some of us might remember the last really epic June/July, in 2007. The way these patterns are evolving is almost the precise opposite of that year. Geez. I do remember that. We had just moved up here and I surfed pretty much every day for a couple of months. Thought I was in heaven. Since then, not...

Re: Just general surfing stuff

Not sure if any of you guys would remember Ronny Silcock. Goes back to the very early days of Sydney surfing in the 60s.
He's in hospital on the Gold Coast having had 2 strokes following unrelated surgery a week or so ago.

So what happened to him?
Think the chemicals were affecting his health in a big way. Had to give it away.
Some of his customers on here will probably remember the details more clearly.

Re: Just general surfing stuff

In years to come sure I'll see a replica above some bitchin' bar. Ala Jerry Lopez red Lightening Bolt boards. There's a Lightning Bolt on the wall of a coffee place in Ala Moana shopping centre. Couldn't work out how to sneak out with it. :( How quick are you Trev? Nowhere near quick enough. I pict...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Well fcukin' good for you. I just caught a perfect train from Marrickville to St Peters. A slight cross-shore wind had zero effect on the rails and the sun could go fcuk itself. We walked up King St with a gusty tailwind generated by the steady flow of traffic. Absolutely perfect timing as the gree...
