Re: Ma & Pa Bendall Comp

Your totally right Mark, but while the rest of the 44 were getting shacked off their nut at SpotX/Big Groyne , Hedgey is getting a wildcard into a contest that is 20 years past it's prime.
The question remains: what happened ?

Re: Nat Young Interview

Trev, no wonder you think TPS is rampant, trouble is that there isn't a country on the planet where Tall Poppies aren't cut down, constantly. Moral of the story, enjoy your celebrity, but don't come the raw prawn. [ I agree with Oldman. TPS is a myth perpetrated by celebrities who feel like they do...

i'm not gonna give you my name simply because I DON'T FU.CKING HAVE TOO Hang on to that anonymity for all it's worth mate. It's obviously a prize posession. By the way, we call 'em jew up here. That would do the job but mpeg editing off the DVD can be a pain.
I think Chillin has given good advice.

Re: Nat Young Interview

lennoxlineup.jpg I reckon the reason Nat is disliked (by some, I certainly wouldn't take this forum as a representative sample), is because he leads with his mouth and is capable of breathtaking hypocrisy. Fer instance, the whole Morning of the Earth, "I wish I said surfing was an artform" etc etc ...

Re: Nat Young Interview

Yeah, your probably right RM. Just can't stand anonymous cheap shots from the sidelines. Nat and his wife Ti fed me and a mate for free one night when we didn't have two coins to rub together. Yes, he's pulled a few raw angles , also done a few great things. Deserves more than to be called a cnut by...

Re: Nat Young Interview

Oh, bring on the internet scuttlebutt and rumours from internet warriors.
Qu.3: Nat, would you ever give a flying fcuck about anonymous internet cock-smokers who post annoying little parasitic posts which generally show them up to be small-minded and bitter losers ?

How much you wanna spend?
You need sticks (tripod), a computer, camera (with good zoom lens or telephoto extender) and some software.
Give us a budget and I'll give you some options.

Ha, they'll NEVER give you that information. . Queensland DPI administers the shark netting program. Found this in about 5 minutes. Shows a decline in large shark captures. http://www.oesr.qld.gov.au/queensland-by-theme/industry/agriculture-forestry-fishing/tables/shark-control-program-caught-area/...

what do you base that on nick nack :?: personal experence :? scientific fact  just vibe you have  Heaps and heaps of actual reading of books and articles written by people who study sharks for part or all of their living. Re: Shark attack at Bondi

Wooloomoloo attack - 7am; Bondi attack - after sunset; Ballina fatal attack - overcast day. Common theme = poor visibility = likely mistaken identity. The best avoidance methods should be obvious. The poor vis. theory doesn't quite correlate with alot of evidence. Ballina attack happened about 8.30...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

3-5 ft Tallows yesterday morning on the 6'2" Brocky. Bit lumpy with an impending south wind and high tide. Chunky left barrels everywhere, just a few blokes out (the Pass was a fcucken zoo). Surfed the low tide in the Richmond River, tandem surfing with my daughter on an 11"0" NSP epoxy ship. Knee h...

Brocky don't do websites.
I'm interested in the CDD board you have. (like the sound of those dims to).
Could you post a pic?
Is that part of the 2 boards for $950 deal?
I'll get down Yamba way soon, keen to check out your operation.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Surfed the next well known right point north of you Mark. 3-4 ft, tropical blue water, light/moderate crowd with a heavy kook/euro backpacker element. Super rippable in that window of butter texture between the morning offshore and a very light ESE seabreeze. Rode a 6'2" Brocky high performance eggy...
