Re: LUPIT

I was thinking about the predominant WNW direction in terms of the Banzai Pipeline.

Now we have Tropical storm Mirinae winding up near Saipan.

Wish I could chase to a certain left hand reef in the Phillos.

Mate, March is prime time. Just point that puppy north and follow the Highway...turning off at every opportunity to the coast. You can't go wrong, there's waves everywhere. Between Newy and Coffs is the least crowded bit and also north of Coffs to Ballina. Outside of school hols crowds and camping i...

He even got a little public handjob from Gra...who I'm assuming is Graham Murdoch from none other than....you guessed it... ASL.....nothing like getting honest feedback from your underlings. Hi Steve. Graeme here. I've been enjoying your writing on the RS forums. Thought I'd correct your assumption...

Re: Philippines in December

I didn't see anywhere in the Phillos suitable for a GF.

La Union on the south China sea side of Luzon has a resort I hear.
Lots of middle-aged men and hookers though.

I'd take her somewhere else if I was you.

Sorry mate , thats the best I can come up with.

Re: PENICHE - 6m @ 15 sec expected

Yeah that was frustrating. In the half hour intervals and also today I back read some of the ASL "coverage". More Pap from editor Fisher, as he is obsequiously referred to by the fawning blog feedbackers. Deadset, Fisher writes like an accountant who's overdosed on Prozac. There's a great story in t...

Re: Lost some weight, been doin abs, surfing better.

Yeah. I'm a big fan of high intensity.\Not so much duration. And using bodweight exercises to really hammer large muscle groups. If I've only got 5mins I'll go do 50 chins and go to complete muscle fatigue. Bike riding seems to really complement surfing....working legs and hammies and also being fun...

Re: A Little Treat...

Lot of that stuff is in Witzig's Evolution.

The ambience of backlit Puerto Rico is fantastic.

The thing that stands out is the quality of the coverage.

There's a fantastic ABC (aus) tele-doco from the '77 Stubbies that is just pure Gold.

Hows about a link Nick?

Re: Crescent to Port Macquarie

Plomer road is heavily rutted esp. on the last Big Hill stretch but you'll have no probs towing a tinny in if you go slow.

You wouldn't want to do it very often though.
Once in and once back : no worries.

Herro...circa 98. Best carving off the top ever.

Wouldv'e buried Slater with this turn if he didn't descend into alcoholism.
