Re: Fiji 2014

total crapshoot.

the winner will be the guy who can blitz limited opportunity. I hate to say it but that means Fanning over Smelly Skater.

and if Holy Toledo wins it doing twirly birds I'm gunna kick both Braithwaite and Beerfan in the nutz with steel capped boots.

Re: Fiji 2014

Can everyone just calm the fcuk down?! As soon as shearer devises his scale of sexism I'll calm down. There must be a scale. While I admit, what I'm saying is sexist. I feel that would be at the lower end of sexism, while the taliban who've suppressed, beaten, tortured, humiliated and raped women s...

Re: Fiji 2014

I agree with you on that LB.

Cloudbreak and Honolua Bay. The title this year is there for the taking for a woman who can figure out reef breaks.

Re: Fiji 2014

Just while you're there and on the warpath, is there anything else women should be discouraged from doing in the Braithwaite world view? So they can surf small waves and go shopping but not CB or Restaurants. What about politics or blog writing? We don't want to set the poor darlings up to fail like...

Douche?

You're really rattled aren't you. Save some ammo mate, and try and play the ball not the man.

Don't worry mate, I'm sure all the little ladies will be back in the kitchen cooking dinner before you know it and this is just an aberration.

winter fourteen

June.

Feels like september.

I think anything coming from that trough/potential ECL will favour southern NSW, massively.

today was nice, headhigh point surf. Uncrowded, unhyped. Clear water, good sand.

strongly agree. I thought Tyler had the most improvement in her, and possibly the best pre-existing reef break chops.

Re: Fiji 2014

yeah, true. Embarassing as all hell for the womens tour. But to state the reason for that is because they are female is equally embarrassing. No reason Gilmore, Wright, Moore, Fitzgibbon, Buitendag couldn't give a completely competent display out there if they showed the requisite level of professio...

twas easily three foot here too.

Swellnet said two foot this morning and when I nearly got washed off the rocks by multiple four foot sets I knew they'd buggered up the call again.

Re: Fiji 2014

I dunno Braithy, I think your arguments that the women can't surf Cloudbreak because they are too light, frail, interested in shopping etc etc are just risible. That's why I bought in the Taliban comparison, because that's the kind of dinosaur bearded male sexism thinking it's representative of. It'...
