Re: Nth NSW sharks. Can they p!ss off already?

Also probably not a Thresher shark - more likely to be a Seven Gill shark. The'ye a bit aggro and have form on the Surf Coast and Peninsula.

Wasn't this sort of thing too successful last year? in that they changed the reporting protocols because daily sightings were scaring the tourists away

Re: Brokelads sponsoring WSL

I saw something really weird in a sportsbar recently. Virtual greyhound racing. They have this game in which CGI greyhounds race around a CGI track and people can bet on the winner. I was thinking why greyhounds? if its all CGI you could have anything - rhino's or cheetahs or middle-aged men in napp...

Brokelads sponsoring WSL

Obviously sponsors ads are an annoyance that everyone ignores - but I couldn't help but notice the Brokelads gambling ads. I have zero connection to the Aussie gambling culture. Occasionally I'll venture into one of those sports bars, where there seem to be a huge variety of ways to throw away money...

Wings in Shape 3dx ?

Does anyone know how to do wings in Shape 3dx ? I get these grooves extending onto the deck (and the bottom although they're shallower)

Re: Nth NSW sharks. Can they p!ss off already?

Cavendish banana eh? It's full on, whatever it is. Bait balls and food and changing weather patterns, warmer currents, whale migration and greater proximity to humans due to any number of reasons.... its everything in one big venn diagram of variables. I can't see how the population of sharks can b...

Re: Nth NSW sharks. Can they p!ss off already?

The NSW shark management strategy of patrols to reassure tourists is backfiring. Check this: https://www.facebook.com/Shark-Reports-716586421776202/ They're getting a sighting almost every day on the Ballina to Byron stretch. It might be better if people don't know how many sharks were sniffing arou...

I see Quik are trying to unload their Ignite 3/2 chest zip and zipless steamers for $165 on ebay. Anyone further north wear one over winter? (3/2 is my summer suit here in Vic)

FYI Had about 10 surfs in my Need 4/3 steamer - still very happy.

Re: Ask Carroll

Oh I agree, it clearly made a lot of people go WTF. I had a chicken skin reaction to it too. Definitely a hard one. I did notice that Kelly wasn't exactly claiming it on the way back out, he had the look of an NRL player who's got it over the line but knows the video replay is gonna end up ruling N...

Re: Trestles Hurley Pro 2015

Is it just a coincidence that Kelly's sponsors do not include those that contribute dollars to the WSL, compared to those of Micks? Is it just a coincidence that Kelly's management is part of ZoSea's management? So you're saying that Kelly's managers got him to throw the heat so Mick would have a b...
