Re: Where did you surf today ?

Worst was a bloke coming in. Gut sliding, which was sensible, until right near the shore, about 5m away from a 10yr old kid, tried to pop up in the whitewater and his board goes flying and spears the water about a metre from the kid. I made sure to keep at eye out after that. Generally it was blokes...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Great, heading down on high tide with the kids. Swim will be nice anyway Talking Narrawalle? Pretty nice mate. Nah mate, south of Wollongong. Rarely surf midday or weekends and realised why, jam packed for shoulder high averageness. Just pushed my daughter onto some whitewater, she trimmed across t...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

So to summarise, the excuses alakaboo has come up with so far for his surfing crime of not paddling to TOS. 1) He's always paddled before 2) His mate is unfit and offered to pay 3) 80% of the others didn't paddle 4) ‪so many dangerous rich cnuts in big boats.‬ 5) ‪That's right, Womble! That's right...

Could you modify this ? Just a thought, it's a sufblanks machine shape. $160 before shipping but probably only have to change outline and deepen concaves

Get to the interesting part of the trip please, like what IPA is on tap and how you couldn't finish it so you offered it to the redhead sitting next to you who looked a bit like lilo etc 😀

Ride report on this thing This board https://i.imgur.com/jXUmPya.jpg So went for the late at semi offshore/sideshore/lago at Curlie. Normal Curlie, bit all over the place but some nice sections interspersed with fat gutters. So how does the board ride? Speed, speed and more speed. I now understand ...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Took the eldest for a surf this morning. Don't want to think about how long ago my last surf was. She had fun catching whitewater and I grabbed a few shoulder high waves on my JD. Tried some AM2 fins in it and it feels much more free and easy than the pc-7's I had in it, which seemed to make it feel...

The Zen part is that you don't have to listen to any old blokes try and figure it out in the carpark, because the flap is fixed.
Ok. I have enough shoulder flexibility to use a back zip so I'll stick to it for now

How's a zen zip work? Quick Google shows it looks like a back zip.

Re: Strahan tassie

Cranked's stats look fine, digger. Rain and cold doesn't stop you doing anything, just make sure you get everyone the right clothing, the right thickness wetsuits. I was down the beach with the kids on Sunday in fact: 4 degrees and drizzle and they happily spent an hour and a half looking for shell...

Re: Pipe Masters 2017

Just caught up with an old mate. Had his surfing trip to the Telos cancelled when an old man orangutan in Sumatra broke a branch off a tree and speared it at him. Almost cut his arm off. wow ... of all the dangers out there on remote surfing trips, near-fatal orangutang attack is something I've nev...
