Re: Where did you surf today ?

The farm on a hot Sunday morning with thousands of others. Was some OK waves about but very heavy traffic. Best ones were on the inside when teaching Mrs Beerfan, no dodging people required. Went out the back when she'd had enough but gave up after a longboarder speared it right in front of me and ...

Re: that wetsuit discussion...

I’d stick with the Rippy suits if they’ve worked for you previously. But be warned, they don’t last like they used to. No matter what you pay. Modern materials are lighter and warmer and they won’t last 5 years. The old "yes it's dearer and doesn't last as long but it's the new tech!!!" rip off haha

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Soon as it's pumping here all the cardio guys with their HRM's and fit bits seem to go missing, I guess keeping the BPM down is a big comittment. I shake my head for the human race when I see people wearing fitbits etc. A professional triathlete or whatever might have an excuse but joe blow? Fkukk ...

Re: Josh Dowling Designs

Yeah it likes steep or a bit of push. I definately don't surf big waves but i wanted it for bigger waves ( up to half overhead will do me! ) or just hollow beachies. Feels long through snappy turns as you'd expect for 7'4" but carves beautifully. The rails are on the fine side, and are awesome. And ...

I've seen the carbon jet up close. Brand new but looked decent. Will see in a few months when it's been used a bit. It's a mates so I should get a go in it at some time.
