Gonna order something like this. Love the idea of a Christenson middy but the reality is a more rockered quad will suit a wider range of waves.

Very smooth looking board mate.

Re: Midlengths

Last paragraph X 1000 re my jd. Can reduce rail volume without it bogging. But when the waves have more push you can get the rail in. If I had the same board scaled down to 6'6" and a touch wider I'd be set for smaller/average days.

Shes caving slowly 😉 I put a post in the quiver thread. They’re all on the bumtree and fleabay. You’ll find th...

The plan is to give it a few more weeks, then if she hasn't agreed bury her in the sand dunes.
:D I need a new board, too.
Didn't you just get a CB egg batoes?

Re: Where did you surf today ?

The farm on a hot Sunday morning with thousands of others. Was some OK waves about but very heavy traffic. Best ones were on the inside when teaching Mrs Beerfan, no dodging people required. Went out the back when she'd had enough but gave up after a longboarder speared it right in front of me and ...

Re: that wetsuit discussion...

I’d stick with the Rippy suits if they’ve worked for you previously. But be warned, they don’t last like they used to. No matter what you pay. Modern materials are lighter and warmer and they won’t last 5 years. The old "yes it's dearer and doesn't last as long but it's the new tech!!!" rip off haha
