Re: Where did you surf today ?

You could be serious if you're going to ask that sort of thing black duck, it's not something to be flippant about

Re: Nth NSW sharks. Can they p!ss off already?

If it was easily accessible they would have moved it for sure. Looks like a tough spot to just drive a truck and a crane up to and take it away.

Maybe they should dig it up, load it in a huge hessian sack and drag it offshore via tug boat. Then host the Port Macquarie Fishing Gala Day?!

Re: Just general surfing stuff

I can't help but think of how far you could cheese up the experience. Night time surfing with holographic Pepsi ads in the background and Tay Tay film clips etc. The "dominoes pizza grand slam" etc

Re: Inguinal hernia, anyone had surgery?

Booked in for keyhole early next month. Being a small one and keyhole, surgeon reckons I'll be fine to lift weights and be back at work by 2-3 weeks. Sweet

Re: Ebay Bargains thread

I wouldn't own the full carbon ones. That's quite cheap, probably left in the sun and popped it lol. The Surfboard agency dvs boards have rails that are basically McCoy beefy, even the tiny ones. Micro looks alright, could work ok with those big rails, being eggy. Might rent one

Re: Inguinal hernia, anyone had surgery?

Ok cheers. My doc reckons even though it's minor I should get it fixed, so that it doesn't end up a major issue. I don't want to have surgery but if o don't, and it got worse down the track I'd be pissed off for not fixing it while it was minor.

Re: Inguinal hernia, anyone had surgery?

Cheers guys. Yeah Trev, groin. I don't really like the idea of surgery, it's very minor. I do lift weights though, and it really helps my knee strength so would like to keep doing that, so if dr recommends it I'll do the surgery. Have heard of people claiming the mesh can cause awkwardness/discomfor...

Inguinal hernia, anyone had surgery?

So my doc reckons I have one. I'm in no pain, there's no lump, and I'm walking around and doing most things except lifting heavy weights. I did feel a slight bulge for half a second the other day. I sneezed and felt something, but only for a second. I then tensed my abs and poked around and only whe...

Re: Just general surfing stuff

It's going to be interesting, because I am about to get my first off the rack poly board (assume machine shape) from a big manufacturer for years. It'll be interesting to see how durable it is. some board makers are making high-qual gear ... others are chasing cheap materials with a higher turnover...

Re: Just general surfing stuff

It's just plain wasteful hey. And surely there are enough viable new tech light weight alternatives that could replace lightly glasses poly for those who are that way inclined ( hi perf surfers ).
