When board "swapping" in the surf, im so cautious and careful with other people's boards its not funny. I'd hate to ding someones board, even though i could fix it that's not the point. Im not too worried about my boards coz they're home made, and a little um... rough around the edges, so a ding her...

If you didn't add catalyst, it wont go off. You could mix up some more resin, adding a little more catalyst than you need, then coat the area. Im no expert, but that's what i'd do. It would be a pain to clean it all off with acetone, but i guess you could do it. Ric-vidal will probably chime in, he'...

The water heats up in the sun. If it gets too hot it expands, and seperates the foam and fibreglass, its called delam. Im no expert but if its a little amount in little area it might be ok.

Let us know how it goes mate. I have a round tail disc kinda board with a 15'' round tail, and a set of fcs PC7 quad fins ...

Not sure if it counts, but last year, my fave spot had some great banks, especially a nice hollowish left. Anyway, one day i turned up, and while it wasn;t big (a little over head high ), it was peeling beautifully. Can't pick one wave, it was all of them, i had one of those days where you take off ...

Ric, i'll probably make some small side bites. Im interested in trying a widowmaker setup at some stage, so some shark tooth style fins are on top of the home made fins list. Like the ones in glass love on neal purchase jr;s. To me they look a bit like a sharks tooth. Anyway, fcs tabbed fins are so ...

MKM, don't worry im still a backyard hack. I just sold a couple of boards and wanted something made by someone who knows what they're doing, that's all. I just need to shape the other side of the rail of the disc, smooth it out, then it'll be ready to glass. THe nugget shape i think will sit for a w...
