So many memories - Great stuff.

How high are those guys wearing their pants in the ads?

No surprise that Kingsly is the only surfer who managed to have the hair in perfect bum part for his cover shot!

NC sums it up pretty well - but some just dont get it Back when I lived on the northern beaches I had been surfing the one break mostly for about 6 years with up to 10 of 20 regulars on the dawn shift - One morning a stranger paddles out - the half a dozen regular/locals sitting on the tight take of...

I have been fringe and off season about 5 times - just get up and head to Nusa Dua - it gets more swell than anywhere so if any where is going to have waves its Nusa Dua.

. the other thing i don't get about your arguments guys is that they only switch the thing on if they see a shark, are you saying a switched off battery would attract a shark? they have them turned off till the shark appears and then turn it on just to demonstrate the change in the sharks behaviour...

Mick has got to be favourite to win - he is so focussed
Kelly is the only danger and can not be ruled out yet

I just dont see Taj competing at Mick and Kellys level for the rest of the season

Have stayed at both and recomend Nusa Dua if you want to do more surfing and less travelling - you will do most your surfing on the reef there as its the most consistent break
If it gets really very big - trip to sanur is on the cards, but you will probably drive past very good sri lankas.

Northpoint on its day (about 2 or 3 times a year) is a pretty solid left - but a fair bit of water moving and shollow over the shelf
The southern point - a novelty wave or lids and logs

It goes against every thing that has been said including by Bede himself, he is quoted in print as saying he was dropped on numerous occasions! Bede's profile has increased since he was dropped, I wouldn't pick him up as he just isn't marketa...
