Re: The Good Luck A Number One McCoy Thread

As I heard Mark Richards say about board design on the WSL, what you are trying to achieve is a board that is fast and turns easily. Unfortunately, those two design wants don't necessarily work together. Ah it’s pretty fcuken easy to get a really good board that goes fast and turns easily these day...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

I saw a monstrous whale off Newport yesterday with two mini-calves, heading south

Anyway, if he gets uppity I'll just tell him that Nick Carroll said he wouldn't ride a Zot if it was the only surfboard left in the universe.

Re: post your modern day sickness

I have a 5’11” of that recent protow re-jig It goes up the face a bit better than I suspect a ghost type thing would, but doesn’t let you into a past vertical drop all that well, I feel like that is a deep concave thing — they sorta hang up for a split second at low speeds, maybe because the curve d...

Any reason the big wave crew that just hit Cloudbreak last month didnt show up to Indo for this? Not hyped enough?
ah a lot of guys went to Nias, they don't wanna surf Ulu Burgers

The size of this swell, they are probably a bit like "fcuk!" that crew would have made mince meat of Ulus yesterday.

Id prefer to see pics of padang. It's not supposed to be that good. Maybe later on the low with offshore. I'll go down and look Well as long as you report your findings in terms of nutritional measurements and incorrectly-used German philosophy terms I think we'll all be grateful for your detailed ...

Re: Waves you've seen but never ridden.

There's an absolutely mental double sided coral reef on the SW side of Madagascar, I've been watching it for seemingly ever on satellite. the left looks a bit better wind-wise than the right but man.

I learn something new at Realsurf every day.
I didn't even know horses had hands.
They're very very small so you probably won't have noticed them
