I have a 5'6 single single fin that packs a heap of volume, shaped by VANDA. It is my favourite board for small runnning waves.... just great fun!

I rode a mates 5'0 yesterday in 2/3ft beachies....
This little board blew me away! It paddled unreal and had sooo much speed once on the waves.
Might have to invest in one of these.

We found lohis in the surf ok.... pick your times - we got it pretty uncrowded. The boats are another thing all together though. Up to about 20 surfers each time.
