I reckon swellnet gets it right more often than other sites. It’s a notch up on coastalwatch, and makes most other sites look a little embarrassing. The east coast of Australia must be particularly difficult to pin down, with the mix of different swell sources and weird refracted south swells. Can’t...

Cronulla point at 4-6 foot. Low tide, tricky roll in and fast and sectiony with the south swell often running too wide across second reef. Got slapped fairly hard in the trough on a too-late too-deep take off, as the wave pinched off in front of me. A bunch of blustery swell and peaks up greenhills....

Yes the deep six channel over the back foot for drive, the diamond tail for projection/pivot, the planshape and distribution of foam - it looks insane for small to mid sized surf of any kind really. A 6”4 would be the go

Dave’s blurb on single fins and the 2+1 set up, with their feel and function is articulated better than anywhere else I’ve read. Instantly relatable.
