Re: Where did you surf today ?

Over 30 years of surfing and have never yet once had to think about not rely upon “kilojoules” to figure out what’s going with conditions. Pretty sure that’s the same for about 99.9999% of the global surfing community. There’s only one forecasting site using the measurement. Try find another. There...

Re: Where is the surf at!?

Yeah but wannasurf isn’t worth paying much attention to. The editors are just general public. And much of it seems to be written by 11 year olds.

Re: Where is the surf at!?

I can answer the question for you. The surf around Nambucca Heads is mostly very ordinary. However the rivermouth / outer bar catches a far wack of south swell or any available swell. Long punchy walls. Sharky and spooky. A Mission paddle out and in.

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Not scared. I can duck dive. Just looked like too much effort for probably no reward. There was the odd walled up one coming through. But shifting all over. The point was a bit of a circus, as usual. I never get frothing over the point. I’ve had some decent waves there before. A couple of memorable ...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Sounds like too much hard work for little reward. I need to surf the beachies more. I realised how unfit (how lazy i’ve become) i was the other day when i tried getting out at north Narrabeen. Spending too much time at the point really has a negative impact on fitness and duck diving skills... Been...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Nice to see you’re still giving the singles a run. Cronulla point today. Some nearly double overhead sets, and fairly solid. Surfed my big ol’ mid-70’s 6”11 pintail single. Approached each wave the same. A speed run straight to the shoulder as wide as I possibly could. Then eased into a cutback, dr...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Well I didn’t get out yesterday, was child minding. And today it was a quick dash to cronulla point, all I had time for. And as I’ve said before, it’s a fairly boring wave aside from the first section. So I tend to take the meat and three veg approach on it. Today For me was a real Kia Carnival and ...
