Can anyone attend the paddle out eMpowered? I see there is one in the Bra too but thinking the Avalon one might be a little less intimidating?

Re: Ask Carroll

Will Jordy win the title this year? Has Slater got it? Will Dane seemingly fluke his way into one?

Hi Nick
What's your opinion on some of surfings new journalists? Jed Smith, Lewis Samuels, Steve Nug, Chas?

Any thoughts on Postsurf.com and nugable.com being shut down by the industry?

Do you like Stab magazine? Why?

That he is. If there is any barrels still to be had in this comp can you request Dane to do one of those double handed tube stalls he does on his website. Those things look good.

Next time the Billy site goes down use this link: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://www.billabongpro.com/tahiti10/live/ Works perfectly. Steve, have you lost interest in the 'Messiah'? He has been ripping in his last two heats and where once you would of been bubbling at th...

Re: Surfing Culture....

A cheaper option for you in the long run would be to go spend a bit of time victoria ways or somewhere that's actually cold. Then you'll never feel the need for booties/gloves/hood in Sydney ever again.

Re: Unwritten Rules Of Competitive Surfing

Slater and Shane Beschen. US open at Huntington beach in 1996. Beschen paddled for a wave, slater snuck behind him, took off and pulled through the back. Beschen didn't even know Slater had done it till the scores were read out.

Watch in portugese. It streams fine (still low res) just have to put on mute. Not like Egan and Snips were too exciting to listen to anyway.

Re: Time to start judging the journos!

It's a race to the bottom. Geez Dino I nearly have to agree mate :D I guess it would not be a RS thread if it did not get derailed in spectacular fashion. The whole reason to start this one was a TWO HORSE race. The idea was for all of us "Regulars" "Barnacles" etc etc to say who we thought gave th...
