Well there's a first hand account of it.

Don't take it as gospel but I've heard if ya stir the resin too much/rapidly you will get the bubbles.

It happens when ya epoxy fishing rod guides and if ya use a hair drier the bubbles will rise to the surface but the epoxy does take alot longer to dry than resin.
