Re: J-Bay Pro 2017

That drift Jordy did in his 'perfect' heat was next-level.

Re: J-Bay Pro 2017

I try to think of these things a bit more loosely boo. Doing a lot of writing and research here and trying to surf my brains out, it's a grand combination I can tell ya. It was just the opening sentence of the paragraph about Fred, which you used twice. Looked to me like you had that sentence and t...

3-) 3-) Wow
Who was the arsehat judge that gave the barrels a 10 and the second one a 9.8?

Re: J-Bay Pro 2017

That's also stated in Endless Summer 2, foamy. Owen can go straight up but also draw out his turns incredibly. He seems better at weight distribution than occy. Poor old Leo finally won a heat and ran into Jordy hitting his straps. Jordy always seems to have a couple of funky heats at j bay but he's...

Re: J-Bay Pro 2017

Better lines than most of them draw on their thrusters. by "better" I suspect you mean more relatable. J-Bay is a simple sorta wave in some ways but it is a bit of a conundrum for the judging system, hell we have been here before, not re-hashing that one. But the normal question asked of CT pros, i...

Re: Eggs - how do you like them?

Are those big chines or glossy cutlaps? Laps Boo. it's mid-length madness in here!!! Boo the teasing bastard has a special one :-D-: Too lazy to post pics again. This one isn't new, but when it was in getting some repairs I got a finbox put in so it feels new. It's a double -ender shape from the la...

Re: Nth NSW sharks. Can they p!ss off already?

Either. Just meant whether anyone has looked at regional or temporal differences. Recognising the short data set.

I may have a play with the data tonight. Seems to be a pretty high catch rate for an endangered species...and no recaptures as far as I have heard.

Re: J-Bay Pro 2017

Only ever seen him surfing beachies and breaks South of the Cape, never actually in town.

He looked like he was trying to turn off the fins rather than the rail.

Re: The Good Luck A Number One McCoy Thread

Should also point out that I really like his semiguns, for the same reasons cranked outlined. I have a board that has a variation of a hull, the fast displacement hull form, taken from ship design, and it is incredible. It's a normal size and shape (5'10"X 19.5x2 5/8), wideish quad, and it's ostensi...

Re: Midlengths

I'm 6' and 75kgs, I had a 6'6" interchange nugget (the slightly slimmer version) and it was way too big. They do some things very well (make barrels, late takeoffs) and some things less well (duckdive, early paddle ins, give feedback). The best way I can describe them is like snowboarding on slushy ...

Re: Nth NSW sharks. Can they p!ss off already?

You don't have to do that. Just stick a freshwater hose or large PVC pipe down their mouth and they'll throw up.

Long as you don't want to publish in a scientific journal you don't need to worry about animal ethics.

Ask for the info from DPI via a GIPA request
