3 foot at DY, 6+ at Bronte

Now that's weird, I was down at Bronte and Tamma earlier today and it was seriously solid. 6foot +. A few guys were getting some at Bronte, but Tamma was maxing out with no one in the water. Just got on realsurf and today's pictures from DY look like 3 foot at best. How can the swell be so different...

Re: Coffin ride

The Coffin ride is considered a variation on the sitting position: On occasion, sitting was used by traditional Hawaiian surf-riders, see Interesting. I do em occasionally when I take the mal out on small days for a bit of a laugh. Other styles: There's also the handstand, and the one with the chic...

Dropknee resembles a heavily handicapped person attempting to get out of a wheelchair.

It's about the most ungraceful thing you see riding the waves, with the possible exception of old blokes on goatboats.

Whatever you want to call it, "dropknee" resembles a heavily disabled person trying to get out of a wheelchair.

Thinking of going to Hossegor mid-Oct/early Nov. Wondering what waves like, given prime time is suppose to be Sept-Oct, also water temp, how cold, will 3/4 steamer do. Seems a hassle taking boards from Aust, especially thanks to British Airways. What have others done and how expensive are they to b...

I used this mob. http://www.audouard-immobilier.com/ Click holiday rentals link, and check out the links for the Le Point D'Or apartments. This block is basically pole position. La Graviere is right out the front. I got a self catered apartment right on the beach for about 180 euro for a whole week....

Why do they even bother having bellybeggar comps?

Every ride looks the same. A few silly spins, and the occasional "drop knee".

Drop Knee is the lamest thing in the surf other than goat boats. It resembles a heavily disabled person trying to get out of their wheelchair at a faith healing expo.
