Re: In Boring Bay Today.
glad that you have all learnt a new word today. Thanks Josh for edumacating them. The word refers to sex offenders and has its roots in the english prison system. Outside each cell is a small blackboard detailing the prisoner's name, etc. For sex offenders the acronym N.O.N.C.E. was written, short f...

Re: In Boring Bay Today.
mmh. What do you want, everyone to be perfect and so spot on like you? Everyone to fit your social dimentions? FFS, surfing has brought its own fate, it reaps what it sows. This is the crop from the seed planted by people like you Steve, with your general air of "i surf therefore I am", surf- lifesty...

Re: A Little Treat...
I am so with you on this I dream of Geanie one. That bloke was living the dream alright - an astronaut, getting to pole her at his leisure, whilst she called him master and she could pull of magic stunts (erm, OK). However, was he outdone by the similarly lucky Darrin Stephens in Bewitched? Samantha...

Re: Sunny Garcia and Nicky Woods in Tracks
so what? Because they were "surfers"? All this pathos and hero's of the kokada crap is what drives me up the farking walll about surfing. Why beat yourself up about it? Do you really care, does it really affect you? Have a look around the world, people are squandering talent, killing each other, cor...

Re: Slab Surfing Ireland
You better be careful who you right-off as a "pasty pommie kook" next time you're trotting up the beach at manly. they might ask you if you wish to join them for a surf. I dunno; the olympics, the ashes, the rugby, F1 world champions and now benchmark heavy water surfing: next they will be building ...

Re: Samoa Tsunami
FFS. Whats is all this cr_p posturing about ethnicity and the most PC way to report the news? It is both bizzare and disrespectful. This week has been tragic for so many people from Philipines, Samoa / Pacifc, Sumatra and their friends and relatives everywhere. All we can do is contribute to their, ...

too easy ski 93; geelong station, v-line to juc (stop by Bells Bvd), walk / hitch down to Juc beaches / reefs or Bells / winki. Stay on v-line for stops at anglesea / aireys etc. It will be like a surf trip, sort of.

Re: ASP TRESTLES IS ON - WAKE UP !
surf journalism is no different to surf marketing, surf literature or surf retail in that the talents of the eligable and qualified are kept out by the surfia nepotism and jobs for the has-beens, almost -weres and never-will mob that pollute the industry. I mean, when did a surf brand win an innovati...

Re: NC at Longy on a Quad with flyer? Fri arvo
MC is doing some magic stuff, he is on fire and full of positive energy. I have been on swats and deep concaves of his for a while and am trying to pin him down to order a new board (which is like wrestling smoke). I like the way he's trying to progress and refine ideas that have come from real-life...

flat spells - forgoton them already! it's pumping down here at the moment - flat spells are a required evil, because when they end the world is a million times better. They are completly retarded due to the fact that you end up injuring yourself doing some unfamiliar activity and miss the start of a...

ummm...quadimodo...? or you could link it in with the 1964 film 633 Squadron ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/633_Squadron) , especially using the measurements you have posted 6'3-6'4, how about going 6'3.3" Quadron? Good line to use in your promotional material: The entire squadron is lost, except fo...

Re: Harrassing Whales
There is some irony in this; we have situation where the surfing world has gravitated to 'claiming' whales as their own species - and yet this special bond is then expoited by the people who the relentless marketing has brought into the sport. Look at it this way - you are a new surfer, you are youn...
