speaking about industry ripoffs; do local shops make any money any more? I heard from a guy at my local who works for a shop (retail + boards etc) that theres no money to be made in local shops anymore. All the dosh is going to the biggie wholesalers

I'd put money into West if I thought it was going to be saved. Hope they come through this. Good products and a good company it seems

I was hoping I could ask someone to buy me a parking ticket for Warringah this year as I like to surf at Long reef and freshwater. Of course I would pay and add an extra few bucks for your trouble. Can you purchase more then one or are you limited? I hope it is allowed to ask this on the forum? Or ...

South Narra is a good spot to avoid that sort of stuff. Then again, the bank(s) at south narra are so shit now that it only attracts a few, who are spread out. Longy is a good place also

Isn't donovan frankenreiter sponsored by Verizon? not a major sponsorship, but it shows some external sponsors coming through

Just on this, it was posted on his Facebook page a few hours ago that he's now sponsored by Fox clothing and eyewear

You both might be right. A lot of the majors have high profile ppl.. plus there's some sponsored riders with faces like smashed crabs. Perhaps it is just up-n-comers
