Should the defender finally stand up

Hi, Having been a reporter and still an occassional contributor, I am faced with a dilemma. I've been riding a lid, ostensibly because I've had 4 operations on me left knee and have doc's advice that I have no cartilage acting as a cushion anymore. Anyway, so I was having a great time giving Don and...

thermalben said Whilst I agree with everything else you've written BD, it's probably worth clarifying this point. The artificial reef on the Gold Coast was not designed as a surfing reef. It has served its purpose very well - to protect the venerable area at Narrowneck by increasing the beach buffer...

Hi moresy, Over the past 6 or so years that I've been with the Surfrider foundation and hanging around the edges of ABSAMP (Australian Beach Safety and Management Program), I had a number of discussions with Andrew Short ( http://www.geosci.usyd.edu.au/about/people/staff/short.html ) From those disu...

This is a ridiculous idea. Seawalls don't work! Most (if not all) scientific studies todate indicate that sand replenishment is the best options. Speak to Dr Andrew Short about this. We got 3000+ people on the beach to stop this insane idea. If you want to talk to people that have been involved in t...

I've been watching Steve for years, this is a really sad thing. As much as one might want to critise the bloke, he put all of his body and soul into evert thing he did. I remember Don and I got an email from someone that had seen Steve surfing (in his kakhi's) at G Land and apparently he charged.. n...

hey costeau, How do we know that tehy'll make GOOD coffee? Maybe we need a public coffee appraisal process to ensure that no new cafes can be built unless there is a cast-iron guarantee of coffee quality. But this one is out. Not sure about the DA process - come along to the next SurfRider meeting a...

Sorry , but I think it is wrong to deny everyone who doesn't own a piece of the dune overlooking the beach the opportunity to enjoy it with eggs and bacon , a drink with some music , a nice meal in the best position . It is not only wrong ..... IT IS SELFISH . Of course letting them dirve to Collar...

You can start by sending emails (sans abuse) to the council. Try the administrators office.

This will give you a list of contact points.

I got ugly feet but its been a long time since my fins hurt them. Suggest you try different sizes, models etc until feet give thanks.

Maybe it was the fins that make feet ugly, funny I always thought it was genes.

Best apologise to Mum.
