It looks like it might not power out of turns.
It's a fairly similar shape to a couple he's made out of foam and fiberglass which he carves on pretty well.
Currently his wife is suggesting they use it as a wall hanging. :-?

Some of you might remember Mick. Ledge71 on here.
He keeps popping out boards when he feels like it.
His latest project produced this gem.

I left. Not going back. Weather is a main determinant of mood. I have a mate who's just moved over there to live. Dunedin. There was a woman involved of course. Then last Saturday, this happened. http://i.imgur.com/4hyxiRL.jpg He let the woman drive? lol. No. He did it all by himself. Ex Precision ...

2-3 foot walled up fatties. Nothing special but still well worth a paddle. I was out on my own at the Reef one time when a Manta Ray lept out of the water. Scared the crap out of me.
Used to be a whole school of rays living in the bay between Nories Head and Cabarita. You'd ride over thm every wave.

The back beach of cabarita is pretty crap. Have checked it plenty of times over the years and never seen it do anything other than either mush out, or only offer up really ordinary left in the corner. Pretty shithouse waste of a back beach.

Re: Just general surfing stuff

So I got to thinking last night...........uh oh.........and I was wondering what constituted a successful amount of waves to catch in an hour. Now Im not talking about the Superbank or Chicama. I ended up reckoning that 6 waves in one hour at a reasonably crowded surf spot would be about all someon...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Russell Island is known for the infamous land scams of the early 1970s,[4] when many of the islands farms were divided into over 20,000 blocks.[3] At the time, the area, with a population of less than 500, did not have a local authority enforcing planning regulations. Heavily advertised and sold of...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

The fires last year brought out some interesting characters from the southern part of the island. Don't want anything to do with authority until something like that happens then it's all "the council should do this and the council should do that" Totally ignored the fact their properties were full o...

Re: Where did you surf today ?

Two days at my local picking up the dregs of this south swell. Not big but lining up beautifully with plenty of oomph for power turns. And several all the way in to the beach. Each time you have to make the decision. Paddle back or walk back out to the keyhole. I'm too old for three surfs a day like...
