There was a case where the guy's legrope went into the sharks mouth first and apparently it took a moment to spit it out, giving him time to move.
I don't remember whether he suffered any injuries.
But he lived to tell the tale.

Aren't the sea temps taken a few Klms out to sea.
I always thought the in shore temps were colder than those recordings.

You live on the Sunshine Coast, Trev. Don't even need a wetsuit. Sunshine plus Scottish skin. I wear one for Sun protection if I'm out in the middle of the day. And maybe five times a year when it's single digits temp and strong swesterlies. Don't forget I mostly surf before you even wake up. I've ...

Yeah Steve. It was a fun day. The banks there are pretty good and seem to keep on keeping on. Maybe something to do with all the sand pumping they've been doing on and off over the last year or so. Anything up to shoulder/ head high works great. Mid week of course. 😃 Sand pumping filled up the corn...
