Re: the young clubbie killed at the aust titles on the goldy

"When is the last time you saw someone being rescued by a ski paddler? When is the last time you saw someone being rescued by a Surf boat crew? "....Zuma you have a point in relation to a rescues....and others suggesting that some parts of the SLSA seem outdated(march past and R&R)...BUT it's their ...

Re: the young clubbie killed at the aust titles on the goldy

thanks Nick....as i've tried in vain to explain to the people at work it's a tragic accident(bad luck). No different to a rugby scrum/tackle gone wrong. The mindset seems to be due to the litigious nature of our community that blame has to be apportioned to a person or controlling body. Like no doubt...

Re: F******g J*w

Mick has to realise or be coached better by Rip Curl(like athletes in other sports globally are) that anything that comes out of his mouth at anytime sober/pissed is a quote to a journo unless he's already agreed before hand with said journo to discuss a subject "off the record" e.g the alternative ...

Re: Australian Surfing Life Issue 254 / Nov - Independent Review

I'd have thought the circulation may not have increased anywhere ne...

Re: ASP TRESTLES IS ON - WAKE UP !

Is the lack of depth being reported a fault of the journo's or are they really just writing a few lines as this seems to be the current attention span of Gen Y? (i know this is a generalisation) This generation communicates in short staccato like ways-twitter/text/myspace etc Most mags are just pict...

Re: Who is in a boardriders club?

yeah was in the local for about 20 years....was alot of fun and saw the progress of several members to WCT/WQS standard,I don't see any negatives from being a member of a club.It builds friendships for life/develops your surfing ability through competition(if you accept the critisism of your peers) ...
