Re: SHRED SLED
Brenno, nah i did the same as you, i got a local guy to do a copy of the rocket. i went off the shred sled because hayden said it wasnt a groveller. but then i dont really rate the rocket ( or at least my copy ) as one either but rather a board for better small waves. i am currently thinking of gett...

$500 - $550 is what retail shops pay Base and Chilli and so on.A bit more for CI but that money must go on the glass job All MP is doing is offering is a wholesale price and good luck to him.

Re: Bonzers
Thanks for the replies .
Yeah carpet thats what i was looking at but trying to keep it quiet.
I'm a bit concerned with the comparison to singles though, just looking for something with great speed with a rear fin, ie not a quad.

Bonzers
Has anyone had any experience with bonzers? The design has always intrigued me so i'm thinking about getting one as a semi gun for fast sucky waves over 5ft.
Wondering about the pros and cons compared to a thruster.
Thanks

Bohdi , its a thruster.
To be fair i generally ride my boards with a smaller trailer so it was more fin than i generally use.

Re: C - Drive Fins
i got a set a couple of weeks ago and i'm really happy with them in my small wave board.
but today i put them in my shorty and while they had fantastic drive i felt they tracked a bit.
i'm going to try them with a smaller standard trailer fin next to see how they go

Re: Kelly Slater's Wizard's Sleeve (and the like)
i'm pretty sure that the board in the final was a copy of maurice cole board. which is fine i guess all shapers take "inspiration" from others, but what shits me is that when asked about it he said it was an adapted flyer. if your going to ride a shapers board and then base your board around its des...

Re: Whats the LONGEST wave you've ridden?
mines the same as salty's but 5ft. on a quad just flying down the line and bottom turning around massive sections with ease as i was going so fast.
i would say 10mph would be a fast one at big left, possibly victoria's fatest wave

Re: SHRED SLED
thanks for the replies i'm actually trying to reduce my quiver, for small waves i have a copy of a lost rocket (this board is fun but the waves need some push) CI biscut ( to big & surfs flat in small waves, but fun in fat 3-4 ft) Michael Anthony swallow tail flyer (prefer my shortboard in the same ...

SHRED SLED
i saw NC mentioned this board in another thread and it sounds fun. the surf has been small in vic of late so its got me thinking that this might be a good option. my current small wave board is great for turns but dosent pick up waves well or get out of the blocks very quickley. so do i get a board ...
