Re: Midlengths

After switching to longer boards over the last year from 6’0s and below performance fishy types these are my two go too’s now Both 7,2. and same dims - Vouch Evo single for cruisier smaller days and the Simon Jones Massive channel twin for anything over 3 ft. The Massive is bloody fast but surfs as...

Re: Midlengths

Both were pretty much the same price. The vouch took a lot of getting used to coming off a shorter board. Speaking with Simon he said something very true in that the bottom contours on mid lengths are a lot more gentle and as such surfed in a similar way. Shorter perf. based boards are more aggressi...

Re: Midlengths

My two cents regarding mid lengths. Have had a 7’2 Vouch evo in the garage for the last 4 years or so riding it on occasions but never really gelling with it mainly because I’ve been used to concaves on 6’0’s and like performance fishy shapes ( of which are still fun), and not rolled bottoms. I’ve b...

Definitely took a couple of surfs to get used to due to...

Trying to put up a pic, have to work out how to reduce the file size
It's a Vouch Evo- bit on the pricey side but I wanted something well shaped and glassed

Re: Midlengths

Yep, recently purchased a 7'2 single fin after riding 6'0 fishes for the last few years ( quads mainly). Although I will continue to ride shorter boards, the feel you get from a single is pretty smooth - trim on the small days with committed carves on the bigger days and getting in slightly earlier ...

I did`nt know Andy at all and yep can totally understand why people think he was a bit abnoxcious and intense. However , to be an athlete competing to be number one, you have to be.You have to have that fire .Any way ,im 31 and expecting my first child in 3 to 4 weeks from now. Re: FCS advice....

put in k 2.1 fins and they go unreal. Ive put them in a 6'2 firewire futura. Its interesting as i found the pc 5's the board came with were really loose and had no drive.Put in some M5's and found they were harder to turn sharply. Also tried PG 5s ( the blue ones with the infinity symbol) and they f...
