Re: Surfing Sydney Airport, early 1960s.

Re: Surf Etiquette in the Line-up

agreed. groms with attitude/no care factor in general are a problem. up here there seems to be particular problems with groms from the boardriders club. last summer i saw a late twenties, good, local surfer enjoying a surf at the beachbreak, then out paddles 3 x 15 or 16yo groms that are in the boar...

Re: Surf Etiquette in the Line-up

Re: Where did you surf today ?

ahhhhhhhh, peak day Wednesday in a decent swell! lovely! take off, fast drop, drive hard off bottom - rip calf muscle [again] - stay on feet, nurse roundhouse cutty, see rip bowl forming, get into possie, standup straight , pitted, duck heaving lip on the way out, pull off the back. best standup bar...

Re: Fish or small wave performance?

nice board, love know how u feel it goes :?: the first thing is it floats 90 kgs. it is really easy to paddle & really easy to paddle into waves, even full waves. i used to order boards with a rolled deck & it wasn't until i rode this board, that i realised i needed the volume for the paddling into...

Re: Fish or small wave performance?

not a quad, hano. i haven't delved into the quad world. it's a thruster with the FCS plugs. i use my k2.1's in 2-3 foot, M5's when it's a bit bigger. i've taken it out in overhead stuff with glass k3's. yeah, i'll post some pics tonight, when i get home. i've got photos from most angles. i take phot...
