Nice. Was it a little on the 'pink' side?murrum wrote:Dead still here till about 2pm. A certain island right had some decent 6 ft sets and some nice walls. Swell was relatively organised, until now. Looking good over the next few days down here.

Re: New Hollow board
Amazing looking board. I noticed you packed the hollow sections with foam. Was that to stop depressions in the deck or does it add to the overall floatation? I'm assuming the hollow sections are water tight but will the foam give you some insurance if one of the sections is breached ala the Titanic?

Tiny on Sept 27th, but a new SW groundswell looks possible from Friday 28th (2-3ft+) building to 3-4ft+ on Sat 29th waning slowly back down to very small conditions again come the middle of the first week in October. You were on the money Don. Went out to the islands on that Saturday and surfed a f...

Re: Dark Pandemonium: Parko@Pipe.
I almost see something reminiscient of Slater's last few contests and the last few Ponting innings - lots of effort with very little output. Can Slater turn it around, unlike Punter? Maybe it's just me... being very hopeful.
Go Parko.

Re: Josh Dowling Designs
Hey JD, thanks for getting it out there. I don't think I'll have too much luck around the area - it'll probably be either further north or south of here.
Absolutely offering a reward for any info though.
Cheers for the commiserations guys. Fcuking board thieves...

Heaps of dolphins out at Bondi yestrday arvo. A really big stingray drifted under me as well. Just after the sun slipped behind the buildings I looked down and saw this dark shape gliding under my board. I t was nearly round with a long stinger.I don't think we get manta rays this far south do we? ...

^^^ I don't know about that. I stayed there a couple of years ago and the bloke who ran the accomm. said Raglan could handle 12 foot easily. He reckoned he caught a 12 footer from indicators through whale bay down almost to the start of Manu. He was right in with Surf NZ, and had heaps to do with th...
