There is no no way it was '78-'79 as thrusters were,nt invented till 1981.Geoff was in Avoca at this time and was staunchly single fins.He left Avoca and moved north in approx 1985/86,so my guess would be about that time.

Fonngs,im also 50yrs and have been riding longboards when conditions suit since my mid 30s,i also ride a dvs twin keel fish and a hp shortboard and i have to dispute the argument these boards ruin your surfing,in fact they help it as you can surf more often and stay out longer in poor conditions rat...

Mitchell is a master craftsman,if you order a board of him ,he will listen to what you want,then put 100% into your board,he even rang me whilst shaping it,to let me know what he was doing,they cost plenty but the work he puts into a flextail is amazing and they last!!!You will still have it long af...

thanks cuttlefish,i,ll ring Dick.Yes it does have an o ring ,water drips out when i remove the valve,i spoke to a mate and he has the same problem,but what i have noticed is the whole valve is loose and it came out so i,ll araldite it in and seal it around the outside,thanks for the advice,want to s...

i have recently bought a van straalen carbon board and have noticed when i loosen the valve after a surf water runs out,is this a major drama as my understanding is the eps blanks dont soak up water like a pu blank?
