Hey Davros I may be one of those guys Nath is referring to as Mona vale is my home break. I have only had the hypto out in small waves so far and would agree to a cerain extent on Nath's summary that it does like to get out on the face, but is a whole lot of fun and paddles like amazingly. I have al...

Re: Maldives surf trip...
Hi Guys thinking of going to the Maldives with my wife, who doesn't surf and staying at either Huddanfushi (Lohi's) or Dhonavelli (Pasta Point).
Who has stayed at both and which would you choose and why?

Re: Help looking for a new board
Hi Longy
I am a 54 yo guy and about 65kg.
I have both a Haydenshapes Shred sled 5'10" and a 5'8" hypto kyrpto.
Either would be a great board for you at around the 6'-6'2" length.
Haydens is at Mona Vale and is open Saturdays.
The guys are great and will look after you

Natho, go to Florence do a day trip or two up into the Tuscan Hills and do some walks in the Cinque Terre. The food, weather, scenery and the people are unbelievable!!

Hi
I have been having some minor shoulder problems as well. Came across this article in Tracks, sounds worth a try.

Re: SHRED SLED
I also have a shred sled and it my favourite go to board in waves from 2-6', mine is a thruster with Future Fins Blackstix AM1's.
I am on the wrong side of 50, 5'8" and about 66kg and mine is 5'10"x 19 1/2" x 2 3/8"
It does not like small fat waves but anything else it shreds (pun intended!)

Hi Guys
Has anyone here tried either the Quiksilver Cypher heated vest or the Rip Curl H-Bomb heated vest?
How do they go and do they last?

I'm one too.
My reasonong is to mainly wash the leash and tail pad to keep the salt and sand from degrading them.
