Re: surfing website
I had a quick look at your site a few weeks ago, after I saw a picture that you had posted on Facebook naming a person (friend) and the spot he was surfing. The fact that you chose to clearly name a spot on the internet was really disappointing.. so I was not in the best frame of mind going to the s...

Re: step deck longboards
You'll have to look to the US to get one.. however CSI should have a few Elevators in stock? See CDM riding his here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HU7Abp7ERHI I heard that Tudor tried it out (both CDM & Tudor ride for Matuse) and got one shaped exactly the same for Noosa earlier this year. The basi...

Re: A bit on the nose...
the conditions for the finals looked a bit rough and not quite clean enough for some of the noseriding weve seen there in the past Tudor explains in his interview that the waves were breaking further out - which was the reason why he didn't bother to compete in the noseriding. Apologies if that is ...

Not much of the Noseriding contest! Where is C.Wach's winning ride? I heard a rumor that it was 28+ seconds!?

Re: help me become a mal rider.
I guess the thing Im having trouble with is timing. Like sometimes im up and trimming and Im not sure what I should be doing, you no do i just stand there till the wave tells me what to do? Pretty much.. cutback when your too far out on the shoulder to noseride.. and walk to the nose when it picks ...

Re: Next board ?
Boards in Victoria are generally priced higher than other states anyway. I have only ever purchased one from Victoria.. the others I've owned were from interstate (1 Noosa, 2 Byron Bay, 3 Nth Beaches Sydney and a GSI.. shhh don't tell anyone!).. and now the latest batch are from California.

Re: Next board ?
Last time I contacted Tyler about a custom craftsman I was quoted about $2300 US for the board to be shipped over here. I think they retail for a bit under US $2000. I'd rather an Aussie made for the price. Have to admit though if I was going overseas I'd be bringing back a Coop, Bing and Tyler for...

Re: Next board ?
next board will hopefully be a Tyler 'Point' model bought in person from El Segundo... Nice!! Given the current dollar you could buy one cheaper from the man himself, rather than a Southcoast ghost shape. I've got my box of boards arriving from California early next week - Long process but it will ...

Re: Your surf rig...pics
Good timing on this thread - I've been looking around for a new car.
I want something that will fit a 9'10" longboard in it! I wont necessarily drive with it in it, but would like to be able to take several boards to the beach and lock up what I am not using.

Re: Rip Curl Hot Skin
Buy a good chest zip 4/3.. no need for a rashie and it will feel as flexible as your old 3/2!
On the colder days I normally use a hood.. but with the new 4/3, I haven't even considered it!

Re: A bit on the nose...
Good article.
I have never really understood high performance longboarding.. I have always thought, why not just ride a shorter board?
