Wanted Manly sticker
Am spending too much time at Manly these days and am desperately in need of a Manly sticker, to be one step ahead of the Parking Police. Anyone have a spare they wish to sell or can advise me? Ph 0418462858

Re: Fully Sick Boys
Have I missed something? What is so funny or "innocently politically incorrect" about a shooting?

Re: Surfboard Testing Day Idea Revisited
I know i have come in late on this, but i go along with Wanderer and Sir_fur. Due to GSI's stance last year in stuffing up the original plan by Sir_fur and then not even going ahead themselves, I say they have lost the right to participate in this one. Big business does not need their hands held by ...

Re: Peak Climax Front Zip steamer?
I bought the RC F Bomb about one year ago. Great stretch but I would have liked to have gone thicker neo. Paid approx $580 but it is a top unit. Also check into the Radiator Steamer from WA. They sell at approx 50% of our local retail price if you buy direct. ie at $328 Mike

It is called a Cormorant. They use them in Japan for catching fish. The fisherman hand rears the birds and trains them to catch fish and bring them back to him in his boat. They place a ring around the birds neck so that it is unable to swallow the fish and have a leash type cord attached so that it...

No need to attack our comments Nick. I have no hesitation in going to both. Variety is the spice of life, after all. I am just concerned that after one and a half months of computer time and after Surfer had come up with 6th Dec, then all of a sudden he is told that that date just happens to coincid...

Top idea. I agree with Pridmore's comment on board to be more for the "non pro" type surfer. Length of time for demo could also be a problem if there are a lot of interested parties. I have been demoing boards at Manly and have been using them for around an hour or so. This would be way too long for...

Forster area
Am off to Forster this weekend with my son for a short surfing trip. Haven't done this since the 80's. We will be staying at a caravan park on Sat. night and will search for waves between Seal Rocks and Old Bar. Will be picking up a detailed map of the area so we can pull into some out of the way sp...

Design over glass
Can anyone advise me on whether it is possible to put a permanent design onto a board after it has been glassed? I know I should have had it done as a custom build, but that is now in the past. Thanks for any info.

Gidday Siam. I recently bought a V Skate from Grant Miller a couple of months ago and I am wrapped in it so far. I had heaps of trouble with mini mals and bought a 6' 10'' V Skate and even from the first day it was a pleasure to paddle. It would be the best board I have had and it is way better than...

From Mini-Mal to Shortboard
To all those who advised me on the problems I had with my Mini-Mal I do thank you all. I did a fair bit of searching around and ended up buying a Grant Miller 6'10" V-Skate. He advised me that the excessive rocker on my mal was the main reason I had so much difficulty paddling. I agree with what ot...

Grant Miller 6'10" V-Skate
Have just bought a Grant Miller V-Skate. Am I in the correct Forum, or should I be in Logs, Eggs and Fish etc? I don't want to be swimming in the wrong pond!! :?

I guess I did not express myself far enough. I was not nose diving. I said that I had trouble paddling for the wave and by the time I got to be on it the wave would have peaked and I would be on the lip about to go over the falls or the board had only picked up enough speed by the time that I was ha...
