Can you help with a couple DVD copies ?

Hi guys and girls, During a recent house move, I have lost 4 x VHS classic surf movie copies and I'm hoping someone might be able to help me get my hands on DVD copies (or VHS) as I just can't live without them ! They are; Surfer's: The Movie - Gotcha Surf Movie 1989. Nine Lives (Billabong Challenge...

Re: Wegener Crusader Help (and eye candy).

I think a lot of people might have similar thoughts on the fin placement, size etc but I can assure you that to ride one is to absolutely blow your mind. The bigger the waves the better and to totally appreciate it, get your hands on Siesta's & Ola's on DVD / Video where the Crusader was born. http:...

Wegener Crusader Help (and eye candy).

Hoping someone might be able to help me with a couple of Tom Wegener 'Crusader' Longboard Model images. I'm after a couple of images showing the planshape of one of these beautiful boards standing upright to get an idea of nose, tail and mid widths. As you can see below, I have a number of shots fro...

Re: Show us your guns!

Hi mate, yeah the 7'6 is a beauty....one of those that you come by and just can't take your eyes off....it surfs as well as it looks too. When my new one is finished, your welcome to take the one in the photos for a few sessions. Mick sold the business to Shane Hornby, an East Corrimal lad who's doi...

Re: Show us your guns!

First things first, the 9'0 exceeded all expectations....was amazingly good. Tested in 2-3 foot shallow reef / sand A frame waves and it floated very well (as expected), was super fast down the line, much more responsive than I expected and turned on a dime. Pulled off a backhand roundhouse 2nd wave...

Re: Show us your guns!

Hi mate, I had a sniff around the racing sup side of things (sups have no place in the surf) and also was riding an OC1 but once a surfer always a surfer so, it's surfing for life. Riding a 7''6 x 21 1/2 x 3 mainly, have this 9'0 to cruise and a 10' 'crowd beater' for log days. Getting this 9'0 out ...

Re: Show us your guns!

Hey Cuttlefish, how's the MC going ? I was going to grab it but you beat me too it. I had an 8'4 a couple years back made for Andy Mac that was a similar shape and loved it. I've just had the boys at Carabine down here in 'gong shape me up and 'all round' style gun - sort of a one board quiver for t...

Re: Fat Penguin

In April '09, I took a trip to Byron with a travel companion.....while 'Surfar' met a woman in a room for a rendezvous, I ventured into all the usual board haunts to say hello and kill some time while the NE'er blew and the crowds totally made a joke of Tallows. A surf trip that took a slight turn t...

1965 ? You must be an old bastard up there in 'paradise lost' ? Say hi to Velvy for me too. :D You do make an important point though - too many people are worried about the asthetics of their surfboard rather than actually riding what suits them and might work for them - image is everything in the 0...

Oh, go fuck yourself wanker. First up, I explained it wasn't about you. After everything I wrote you still didn't get that bit? Talk about slow... Second, if you can't tell the difference between exposing semi-secret spots in urban areas and exposing reefs on the edge of the continental shelf that ...

It barrelled later that day, I'm sure
Thurs was 8 foot plus and barreling but I thought those shots would be going a little too far.....these were just some walls to draw lines which is OK by me.

Hey mate,

We drove down, 11 hours each way (Syd - Melb) with baby Tylah and it was much better than I thought it would be.

Just glad I wasn't paying the fuel bill though - sheesh !
