Re: Help with surfing with ACL damage!

Just further to Ringy's post, I have been told I will need a replacement knee at about 60, have a bit of arthritis. Surgeon pointed out a sample on his desk and said we will both be getting one like it and he would see me about it then. I left thinking that I would get the surgeon who did his to do ...

Lots of fish oil and the other daily supp I cannot remember the name of. Today i would get the surgery but m...

Re: Malaria tabs

Hatchy

Thanks for the info

I had heard that about one med, now I know it is Larium. Glad you confirmed.

I am a lilttle touchy about this. My brother got Malaria working in PNG about 30 years ago and he suffered for many years.

I am more inclined to be safe on this one.

Thanks

PS I recall there was a post on this some time ago but I cannot find it with the search function.

Has to be BS. I remember reading an interview with Drouyn some 30 years ago and him saying all be wanted was a gorgeous blonde, big knockers, green eyes and long legs. It has been my 'holy grail' since. Have scored 3 of the 4 but not all 4 together. It would be like being told Pamela Anderson's brea...

Anyone persuaded and try them ?

Besides looking like a dork, do they work ?

You might look at a workout Paul Frediani put together www.surfflex.com under surfers workout using a swiss ball and bungee. Many good articles are referenced as well I purchased his book from Amazon. Delivered in about 8 days. Worth having. You might look at interval running as well eg jog 200m spr...

It seeems most owners of Millers are very impressed with the boards.

Clif,

Did you get anywhere ?

I have also noticed rave reviews for Matuse in US.

I have emailed West asking about the neoprene. No reply.

Tried calling a retailer of West who were less than helpful.

Anyone have experience of a West retailer in Sydney who have a good range and some knowledge ?

Have a chat to Grant Miller of Waterskate fame. Good bloke who I am sure will steer you in right direction. Mentioned in several threads here. McCoy nugget would also be OK. You can email Geoff McCoy for advice/ recommendations. Agree buying board for what weight you are now rather than what you hop...

Treehugger wax

www.treehuggerwax.com or on ebay.

Gowings used to stock Pantagonia. Miss that store.

I have contacted Pantagonia through their web site. You can buy on-line but they do not have any stockists in Australia (that was last year when I inquired).

Never understood why surfers promote surfing by wearing name brand surf clothes. Listen folks - we do not want to make it popular. We have a finite respource - beaches - waves I only buy functional name stuff - eg wet suits. I do not get upset at persons flogging the gear - they are trying to make a...
